In 2019, The Rood Family Advised Fund provided funding to 17 Clubs around Washington. Their generous investment in Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission allowed the Clubs the ability to create STEM and robotics programs, update a gamesroom, obtain computer equipment, train staff and provide them with supplies, meet the emergency funding need for transportation, upgrade and expand teen programs, and more. Without funding from The Rood Family Advised Fund, these 17 Clubs wouldn’t have been able to serve as many youth, to supply them with a safe place to go after school and keep them out of trouble.
